Return to wonderland

AJ

I want to be, somewhere else
I want to believe, the other perspective
The me in my dreams
Who returns each night, most days
To a happier world inside a crippling brain
It's a forgotten philosophical tale
The underdog of conspiracy theories
The one that is just too close and too eerie
But I like it, because it's simple really
A life in a wonderland inside my dreams
And when I want to stay up late the little people in my far away mind scream
like a conscience reminding me of my need for sleep
My health isn't affected by lack of sleep from the lack of processed thoughts and memories
Really they're just calling back the me who is easier and happier to be
