Dead love

alissa

Two in the morning;

“I miss you.”

Can’t you tell that I’m done mourning

this dead love that I’ve lost too?

    I just love these shorties! Very well written, Alissa.
    Now I know why I always turn off the phone at night.

      Thank you! I wish I could do the same but then my mind wanders too much.

          Amazing. On the other end of the spectrum, their was a time I'd kill for a 2am message.
          Very well done Alissa.

            Thank you. I have both prayed for and dreaded those 2 a.m. texts. There comes a time when it's just not worth it anymore.

              I understand. There is usually always one who wants the break up and one who doesn't. You're a strong woman. Keep it up, I look forward to reading more.

              The message come in at the wrong time, did not do the magic but the opposite.
              Love your short but penetrating expression.

              Short but noteworthy! Economic use of words but got your message out there. Xx
