You're Still my Wish

HeartfullyFallen

I rarely wish
Yknow A shooting star, when the clock stricks 11:11, blowing dandelion puffs...
I rarely wish

There was a little girl in the shop, she was yelling "But mommy, my wish!"
And she picked up and dead flower petal and blew a kiss with it, closing her eyes
I went to the park and picked up dying flower petals and blew my kissed away with them
But I didn't wish
The first star of the night twinkles and I start my wish
"star light, star bright. The first star i see tonight. I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish I wish tonight"
And I stop
I don't wish
I stop and I breath
I think of life's simplicities and joys
And I don't wish
I believe fate will wish for me

But tonight when the clock shone 11:11 and I saw my star...
i wished
The numbers flashed and my mind shouted your name like a final plea of a a suicide attempt
I don't wanna say my wish, for fear of it not coming true but it was about You
my first thought was your name
then the wish
But I still had most a minute to spare
so I thought of the joys with you
I'll let fate take care of the rest
