Sirens

LoneWolf1

They circle beneath the waves

Voices calling to the ships above

Come to me

They say

Come to me

Skin as pale as the moon above

And

Hair as dark as the sea below

Swim with me

Be with me

Faces apear from the edge of the deck

Rough

Dirty

And filled with

Awe

At the immortal beauty

The raw grace

And the mesmerizing voices

Until

One

By

One

They jump

Time is frozen as they fall

Arms stretching through the air

And legs kicking uselessly

Until they splash into the water waiting below

Cold

So cold

Come to me

Not sure if it gave my a chill, or if it's just too cold in here. I liked the read.

  • Adam Shirley

I imagined myself in the middle of the sea at night, with the green sea shined by the moonlight, such a beautiful piece, I love it.
