Alone

germanamericanchurch

U are alone because u feel alone,
We aren't truly alone,
But all the borders and wall and
Fences,
They imprint our mind,
They detach,
They Disconnect,
Us from everyone else,
Not human but other animal,
We grid this beautiful place into a
Circuit board,
Then wonder of our detachment,
It's almost funny but too serious,

An interesting poem, gac. But I think that 'alone' is a physical state, whereas 'lonely' is a mental state. So we are truly alone if there is nobody else close by.
But then, I am sometimes a little bit slow and you might have to explain your point.

The physical nature of being alone hadn't really been part of this poem, this was more about compartments of society,
But true aloneness is a real element in human experience
