FADED LOOKS

lasergraph

The things of youth we once cherished,

And thought were important to keep.

Were nothing more than superficial,

And faded away in our sleep.

Our looks is not what’s important,

Although taking care of our self is not a crime,

Some things just don’t last forever,

Erased by the passage of time.

So don’t fret over things that are fleeting,

Don’t worry about things that are gone.

Just accept the things life gives to you,

And just try to make them your own.

Just look at the beauty that surrounds you,

From nature that you see all around.

When you stop worrying what’s on the outside,

The beauty inside you can be found.
