Goodbye Sashy
I had you since you were two months old
I watched you grow from pup to grown dog
Your playfulness and smile had me sold
Now your life is gone like the morning fog.
You died today and I lost a part of me
I’ll miss waking up and seeing your face;
Getting over this loss won’t come easy
This void in my heart can’t be replaced.
I can be at ease you’re no longer in pain
Take it easy big girl you’ll be missed;
To get a rainbow you need a little rain
I’ll say goodbye and I won’t resist.
Gone but not forgotten, although it’s hard
I’ll keep you in my heart forever
I knew it was your time to depart
Never to be forgotten forever and ever

farewell and lost are love which is forever. hugs
Nice sad writing. I had to assist a family dog when he left us. Very sad. His name was Theodore Jammes
Thank you. I guess we all have a sad dog story.
