Dreams

Ternic73

I lay down at night and close my eye
Dreams fill my mind
I have wings flying through the sky
There are no others of my kind
Feeling free as I dance through the air
No angry thoughts, not even a care
Dragons and Pegasus race with me
Flying fast, flying free
These are my dreams that make me smile
yes, its been a while
Rainbows shoot across the sky
I love this free to fly
Green meadows fill this world
Fairies, unicorns colors swirled
the handle of my dagger pearled
Am I their protector or just passing through
This is my dream, what do I do?
Dreams begin to fade
Body starts to wake
This must be a mistake
This is a dream I wish was real
My eyes open to morning light
That dream was so surreal
I want to return to that place tonight

People hand in hand... Have I lived to see the milk in honey land? Where hates a dream and love forever stands? Or is this a vision in our mind?
Such a Great Selection of words. 😁
