Your Little Truths

Clark

you were the kind
of poetry i craved

little did i know when i fell
into your words i was just
falling

looking at you now
is looking through
rose colored glasses
clearly seeing all of
your shades

i watch you deteriorate
in front of me and when you
decide to look in my direction
my eyes scream please try

being afraid to die is
being afraid to live

when i tried to scream all
that came out was
i love you

you showed me that people can
drift away just as flower petals
down a stream

  • Comment from author about the poem: Hello everyone! I know it's been a while but I'm extremely excited to be back and with new and real poetry. Here's some little verses that hold a very devine meaning in my heart so please read with delicacy when the words hit your eyes and I really hope you can find some relation from your own experiences and please feel free to share them. Much love ❤ -Clark
