You were never mine to keep

Drowninginkalopsia

Livid from the thoughts I hold
I knew you we're never mine to hold
Going insane from this pain so real
losing sight of you has become so real
Never thought I'd fall again,
I'm left to pay the price of
your selfless games
when all I wanted was just you,
I exceeded my luck thinking I had you
I should have know that loving you
was worse than losing you.

Yes i know this complex feeling and you express it well here. Falling for someone who your head tells you will hurt you, but you have to see it thru so that they can hurt you and ten you can begin to get them out of your mind. Complex things aren't we. Really good writing.
