the poetry in me

Clark

i thought i
wasn't poetic
because of the curves
of my shape and the
the marks that stretched
to mold me
only to see
that every ounce of my being
body and soul
was poetry
at first sight

A fine tribute to self-appreciation, both body and soul. An important step in our evolution. Well done, Clark!

You are a poem in the making. Be true to yourself. A beautiful original.

On the second sight, "that every ounce of my being
    body and soul
    STILL poetry ".
    Thank you for the rose.

Wonderful writing. Reminds me of a certain poet on here who's every curve is poetry itself. Her whispered words i dare not repeat, for like the gasp of her breath they carry such heat.
