Dead weight

Drowninginkalopsia

Condemned as another
burden in life,
just another innocent soul
caught in the fire created by men
inflicted with a wound so deep
my soul does nothing but weep
the sun went to war and so did the moon
the sun is now dead and so is the moon
a love so immense it caused a weight so
intense, with no strength left to detain a
pernicious love that once stood in its place.
