Having a mental illness sucks
Sometimes you feel like you're just fucked
You're happy for a few days and then your minds like nope
You? Happy? That's some kinda joke.
Even when everything is going perfectly fine
You're still sitting there trapped in your own mind
You don't want to talk about cause you don't wanna ruin someone's day.
These are just games you don't want others to play.
In the end you always loose, there's no winning, no reward at the end.
Anxiety, depression, the voices in your head.
You realize they are you're only friend.
I don't know what's wrong with me..
You're mind never shuts up
Thinking of all the possibilities of how you can run outta luck.
Happy on the outside, screaming on the inside
That seems to be the story of my life.
I thought it was over, I was finally going to be fine
But it never ends, oh no that's a crime.
I honestly don't know if it will ever stop,
Maybe it's just a race against the clock.
Counting down the days, tick-tock
You're hoping you pray, everything will just go away
That one day you're not the one to blame
And that one day you can go more then one day saying...
"I'm finally okay"

You get it so accurate. A tough illness to fight, yet no other way around, but fight.
