If I am the moon,
You are the sun,
And I normally run,
But today my core
Is aligned with yours.
Life becomes darker and colder
For a moment of bliss
As I see my body slide onto yours
For a savored hug or a prolonged kiss;
We stop the world with our Eclipse

i really liked your metaphors especially the title. I also wrote a poem about the eclipse, though my title is not as clever as yours. It's called Eclipse, (I know very creative:) Good work!
Thank you 😀
Turn your cravings into words which reach the eye or ears of this special someone poet or they may never know. Your future is yours, grasping difficult situations even if you fluff them will make you stronger. Nice writing.
Thank you! Its a difficult situation because she has already told me not to contact her for personal reasons after I quit working for her, so I am kind of terrified of her. Plus she runs one of my two favorite vegan restaurants within 50 miles of me and I kind of feel like I need to respect her personal space...
Anyway, thank you for your review! I would normally agree about embracing what you want but this situation is so tough...
and i normally run! i like this! good stuff
Thank you 😀
