Mine.

C.L.

What started as a greeting.

Led to an everyday meeting.

No matter your disputes.

They will always be there for you.

What is mine won't ever be gifted.

You say hi and my spirits are lifted.

The details are what matter.

For when they are tended to, your bond won't shatter.

What's mine is yours and what's yours is mine.

To be loved by a person so divine.

Truly makes up my mind.

That I'm glad you're mine.

I truly like your poem, C.L. When you are in love this is exactly how it is. But when you get married it changes a little bit to: What is yours is yours, and what is mine is yours too!
