to dream of a better place
to dream of a world of happiness
but the dreams fade out
the sounds become louder and louder
the tears of a soul
the pain of a broken heart
the one they use to know
the one they worshiped
they passed
the dying soldier
he falls to the ground
his face going pale
saving the life of millions
a damaged family remains
the lost soul
a lost dream

a cold hearted girl
a black rose
standing on her own
she falls to the ground
letting out a sob
her hands cover her face
a whisper of goodbye
the one she use to love has gone with the wind
a fragile soul holding him in her arms
she cries louder for those to hear
she lets out a whimper

fighting for what she has
