Scar

Faye99

Every inch of my body is covered with scars and bruises.

You can't see them, but I have to feel them.

My heart is shattered, the shards of my heart keep cutting deeper, and deeper.

You will never feel the cuts of my shattered heart.

My soul is broken, you broke it, and you will never know how lonely it is.

I feel damaged, and you pretend not to notice.

So next time you see me, see my broken soul, my shattered heart, and my skin covered in scars.

You did this to me, you ruined me, but I will survive.

One day I will thrive.

Very well written, Faye. You know, we all have scars and bruises, some more than others. But time is the greatest healer, and your last line says it all: One day you will thrive!!!!!
