Time Move Slowly

Edthepoet

I don't suppose
You can hear me
If you could
These tears
Would not fall

And I don't suppose
You can hear me
If you could
My fears
Would be calmed

No I don't suppose
You can hear me
My God
I wish you could
My love I wish
You could hear me
I'd tell you how
All your dreams
Came true
My love I wish
You could hear me
I'd tell you how
Your memory
Shines through

My love I wish
You could hear me
Give me a sign
If you do.
I'm starting to feel
Kind of lonely
In this house
We built for two
And I'm starting to feel
Time move slowly
Away from
The day that I lost you.

Sad. As time goes by you come to terms with, get used to situations. But it can all come back fresh in a flash. Nice writing.

Cheers Dusk, It's a lyric to a piece of music I've been sent. Needs tweaking but I thought this original draft made a decent poem.
