Brick by brick

Estrella Torres

Breaking down walls are hard

Especially when they never seem to end

Hundreds of bricks on the wall

Held by the fear

The fear I used to block everyone away

Years of construction

It becomes near to impossible to take down

Especially alone

So I may look strong to you

It may look like nothing's wrong

But that's just my facade

It became hard to trust

Hard to love even

So brick by brick is removed from the wall

One by one

Day by day

And even though that may not seem like a lot to you

Its a hell of an accomplishment to me
