Candlewitch

Coveted

Coveted...

touch not
this daunting facade
of polished steel
it is obscurely
out of the way
not on your path
make no detours
to investigate
this remote structure
you are not to know
the secrets
and mysteries
under the veil
of distant demeanor
she is an ice mass
of unbearable cold
exuding arctic winter...
and one indifferent kiss
would dissolve her
into a catastrophic meltdown

An impregnable "ice mass" that "one indifferent kiss would dissolve" ... a peek into the warm, loving being that lies beneath? Fine words and feeling, Cat!

Cat! this is lovely! The kiss that melts and shows the hidden beauty, perhaps? A delightful read. I enjoy your writing very much. Your word choice is always excellent. You are able to say a lot with few words..

                • Candlewitch

yes, Santita, the kiss that melts and reveals...but beware the careless kiss too. thank you!

                  *hugs, Cat
