Silence

femlord

I have slayed silence like a knight does a dragon, I stand tall, chest out, it's head hanging from my hand like a trophy of triumphant.

Today I am no victim to silence I see the lights, I hear the trumpets.

SIlence will not kill me silent, I succeed in it and struggle in it too, like this the joy of life can only be abundant.

  • Comment from author about the poem: From anxiety and depression silence used to be my worst enemy, because it allowed my thoughts to run wild. Until I seen the pros of living life in silence. My struggles and success will be all in silence.

Silence ... the most sacred sound of all! My sentiments exactly, Femlord. Well done.
