Time and Change

Sometimes I wonder where time went.
I wish I could go back in time and relive the moments I never realized I would miss so much.
Moments like laughter,
Singing.
Moments of pain,
That we're comforted once by someone who stopped the stinging.
Moments of hugs
And happiness,
That made you feel like you were loved, and of bliss.
You miss the past more and more as things change.
As people change.
One day someone talks to you every single day,
One day someone is always by your side,
One day someone cares,
But then,
It was all a lie.
It goes away.
Just like the perfect shell,
Shining colors of pink and blue,
Showing the sky's reflection,
Showing the birds that flew.
Washed slowly away.
Deceiving you into thinking that everything was okay.
But once the shore takes it,
Far into the distance,
Until it out of view.
You panic.
you wonder how you can get it back.
You can't search the ocean,
It's surface spreads far across the earth, passed every sea.
And if you go deeper,
As deep as you think that shell might be,
You can't find it,
There's no end to what you can see.
You cry,
And cry
Until there are no tears left.
Until your eyes are so dry,
You feel them shriveling up.
You try,
And you try,
Until you've tried too long,
Until your strength gives out
And realize you're out of luck.
Someone is not going to change who they are when they are so caught up in what they've become.
Someone is not going to change if they've already moved on and have forgotten you.
Someone is not going to change because you want them to.
Even though you still think there's that few seconds of getting it back.
Time has already diminished,
What you've been trying is not going to work anymore, it's finished.
You don't want to let go of what you think is hope.
But That hope is just burning the hole in your heart bigger and bigger,
Until it caves in.
And you think nope.
What's the point anymore?
You're an apple without a core,
You're a house without any doors,
You're the lion without a roar.
You're a person,
Without a reason to live for.
You don't want to live anymore.
Because you think,
There's no way out.
There's no one left,
There's nothing to help.
You're too stressed.
That someone is gone,
The someone that held you together.
You've finally fallen to pieces,
And,
Nothing is getting better.
You feel you'll be alone,
Forever.
And you'll never find that person again.
They replaced you,
But.
You cant fill their place,
When you all you can see Day by day is their face.
But It's time to move from the past,
It's time to accept that you have been replaced.
It's time to stop crying,
And find new people to put a smile one more your face.
No more sadness
You're worth more than that.
Just because you're not good enough to someone anymore,
Doesn't mean you can't be important to the next.
Doesn't mean you won't find people who love you,
It doesn't mean,
You won't find people to fill the hole burned in your heart.
Time is endless,
It will keep Going,
But as it goes on.
Why end it without even knowing?
So pick yourself up,
Smile,
Let it go,
Make new memories
That won't leave you behind,
Learn to live again and grow.
