Today you turn fourteen
Now a full drama queen

Double sevens begins
Lots of adulting to be done
Responsibilities some are fun
The world is an amazing place
Ready for you to embrace
Emotions will run high
But never be afraid
As your mother would kindly say
They'll swell up, then go away
How you choose to act with these
Helps build the man you'll be
Mistakes are always made
Change is a corner away
But words stay the same
Perception is the game
