how is it an emotion can fill you up
so quickly and so completely until
you feel your fingers itch to stretch
suddenly, endlessly bigger than before
how is it these moments can make
you forget everything else except
how your ribs suddenly feel to small
and skin too tight
in these moments i feel limitless
i could grow, expand, spread and cover
the whole damn road, daring anyone to
try and stop me
