You're like a deep breath in

MaddieJ

Like a deep breathe in, your presence makes me calm

Your scent makes me want to breathe more...

Thinking of you, I begin to fumble

Speaking to you, I darn, near crumble!

I melt into your eyes, I'm sure you know...

Your affects are lasting as shown by the smile on my face.

A grin from ear to ear!

Walking through the grocery store, looks of disgrace

"How can someone wear a smile like that upon their face?"

Truth be told, I don't know why it comes!

All I know is, I love when it does.

Warmth, wind, the feeling of flight through the air

It's an iridescent glow

A journey floating through the day as if on a puff of smoke

The whole day feels like seconds

In your hands, is all my time

This is the place where my mind goes when it wraps around you.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This is about when you go through that madness fase of a crush. I think it\\\'s nice to have fond memories of the way someone has made you feel. I remember a guy that sparked alot of these emotions in me. We never dated, though I wish we had! Anyway, I was thinking about this so I wrote!

Great poem virago! That's why they call it 'floating on cloud 7'!!! And if you can do that even in a grocery store, you've got it made!
