Why Glob Created The Universe

In the depths of space a long time ago,

Glob looked into the abyss,

realising he was alone,

'I could do with a pint' he thought with a sigh,

So he created the universe with this in mind,

Glob closed his eyes and focused all of his might,

Photons were created and BAM!

There was light.

Glob looked out to the light,

Saw the universe expand,

'TIME!? Shit! 

'I have a lot of power in my hands'.

One spec stood out to Glob within the light,

'That blue ball looks sweet'

'I christen it land of the pints'

Soon came the atmosphere,

With it the land moon and stars,

'Right' said Glob, 'let the true magic start'

'Life I will call it, and strange it shall be'

He made Fwump Dingers, Wanglevers, Vulge's and Swangee,

These won't do, thought Glob as he looked at his marvel,

Fwump Dingers make flump and Swangee make Swarvel, 

But none possessed the secret to great tasting pints,

Which was a problem,

As to pints Glob was most partial.

So Glob had an idea,

That brought you and me into be,

'Evolution' Glob shouted, as he turned Vulge into Vulgee,

There brains grew larger, 

The Vulgee got smarter,

'Till one got bored and drank the blood of a swangee,

'I feel funny' he said

'I shall call this mead'

Glob gawped at the sight,

danced with delight,

Then ventured to the pub,

For his well deserved pint.
