Inner Thoughts

Diane

I don’t feel today

It’s a no feel day.

A no poetry, verse

nor rhyme, or likewise,

nothing not a word.

It’s a numb sort of hour,

no thoughts or emotions,

not a note to be heard.

No sun in the sky,

no meanings, just blank.

Not a question why,

can’t be bothered to try.

It’s a no feel day.

Today I’m gone,

can’t think,

inspiration, excitement,

none.

In fact,

I can take my time.

No rush of words

pushing my fingers onto paper

as normal.

It’s true

not a flow in sight

today..... you lost your fight?

And now you've done it - written a poem! Good write D. Know what you mean though. Some days, we know, there are things we HAVE to do, like it or not, want to or not, etc!
I know the group thing you mention. I hate certain 'meetings', mainly if 2 hours long, and I contribute hardly anything to them! Take a nap while someone else drones on. lol.

Not quite sure about the group thing you mentioned?

Something in your profile about large groups?

Ahhh of course, I understand now 🙂

Why write when u havent the inspiration. Whats the point? If you're inspired you'll produce something worthwhile, if not you wont. Why bother. Art on a production line? No thanks.

I like the irony in this poem, you describe a non day with no feeling or thought yet you have written this, even when you think there is nothing there, it is always inside of you!...a relatable write for me

I, like BlueDays noticed of your finding nothing to write of, and yet you wrote something worthy of reading. Many times I've been in the same place, but I seem to find something different to write of. A fine effort put forth here willis with great results. ; )
