Change, Direction.

Joshua Reidy

A

Flightless plane

Big sheets of clean white metal

Wings drag across the pavement, into buildings

And homes

The hard cold floor

A yearning for significant purpose

Creating a series of moments to wonder

At the bluey, spacious, freedom that is the Sky

The

Desire to one day intersect with a flock of birds

Perpendicular

In arrow form

Warmth in purpose, commitment

And free spirit

Born to set sight on nothing but the present time of day

We yearn to be more

Crave more

    In arrow form

    Warmth in purpose, commitment

    And free spirit.
Yet does this not yet make you think of what these birds are fleeing - i.e don't look back

That is an interesting reflection on the birds, curious about their journey and their past. We view this from the planes point of view and so it only seems fitting we hear of just what the plane respects and admires of the birds. Maybe I could write something from the flock of birds perspective.

I really appreciate your feedback Luke!
