Awake

AudieSaige

She lies awake

Staring at the walls that surround her heart

Crying as she slowly falls apart

The thunder brakes

As every tear rolls down her face

Thinking about all her mistakes

She was so innocent

Now the aroma of her past

Thrives with disgust

She should of

Left that boy in the dust

Innocent but ready, or was she conned by a big bad wolf? Oh no, he was just a boy, so it says, maybe he was innocent too. Provocative writing. Please comment on my stuff.
