Love Lost in Time

endless_midnight

I held your hand, you held mine

Our fingers gently touch.

The palms they keep

A longing beat

Of love not meant to be

Our thumbs they lie

Side by side

Together they laid, intertwine

I held your hand, one gentle glance

It clasps with warm embrace

A love that time, can not find, in time that love, but chase

Wow I love this poem! It shows how sentimental every physical touch can really be.
