The Blonde at the Restaurant

mountainman999

I sat down at the table.

Her blonde bun bounced to the booth.

Her smile lit up the dark restaurant.

When she asked what I wanted,

I stared in awe.

Trying to think of something else to say,

Besides, "you".

When she'd walk away,

I wanted to grab her wrist to make her stay.

I'd start to glance over my shoulder,

To watch her walk,

Talk to guests, help people out.

I was infatuated with every inch of her.

I was in awe with her throughout.

Boy was she stunning, incredibly cute.

I couldn't even taste my food.

Her every move was locked in my brain,

As she twirled around the restaurant,

Her golden aura enhancing the masses mood.

The check came...

The energy died down in the restaurant,

As I slapped down the twenty on the cold table.

But little was it known that also thrown down,

Was a little white paper, holding 10 numbers.

A smile soon curved up my lips.

There was no way she could miss it.

Here's to the future.
