Doubtful

AudieSaige

Your the first person I've ever laid next to

close my eyes

sleep so perfectly fine

I've honestly never felt meaningless until

I laid down beside you that night

You haven't spoke a word to me since then

Its not hard for you I see

To walk pass me in the hallways

and not have a memory when you blink

I was just another girl

add me to your list

you will forever be the one

whom remains in my wish...

Your poem rightly relegates the troubling premise of the one night stand aka. "Hookup" to the trash heap of societies most doubtful (false) pursuit of happiness. It needed to be said and you said it well here. You're worth far, far, far better my friend. The guy that will respect you like the queen you are is alive and well - say a small prayer for him tonight - soon he will be in your arms...
