Distorted

poetboy5454

Life is wondrous, look at that giant mushroom cloud

Death is coming, witness the shock deafeningly loud

Amidst the mist, lie a pile of mannequins on the ground

Among the blood their bodies lay, unable to make a sound

Cool, giant toy cars, attached to a gigantic telescope

Weapons of destruction, wiping away any wisps of hope

Check this out! There’s a giant playground for us to take

An abandoned, burning town, it’s fate yours to make

Wow! A whole bunch of action figures, now we can play!

Frozen with fear, understandable, it’s their final day
