Dead \\\'Possum

w c

Dead 'Possum

He did not move he did not breathe

He did not make a sound

He was completely dead indeed

To everything around

He did not awake from his slumber

There was no yawn from him

He was as dead as any other

His act had reached its end

His playing dead did not save him

He was seized as he faked

He was put to certain death

And would never again awake

Thanks Viv! I've been accused of playing possum myself sometimes! LOL
