Inside my Head

vanclauds

There is a demon in my head.

You cannot see him, but he's there.

He makes his home inside my thoughts.

He says I'm broke beyond repair.

There is a disease in my brain.

You cannot feel it, but it aches.

So much anger, so much pain.

Reminding me of my mistakes.

There is a dark cloud up above.

You cannot hear it but it storms.

I'm drowning, deep in a freezing flood,

And I don't think that I'll ever be warm.

There is a monster deep inside.

You cannot kill him, he's too strong.

Oh, how hard I rise against and try

I know that I do not have long.
