As I try to perceive
Visions not yet seen
Not wishful thinking
But intuition so keen
And I’m no fortune teller
But I’ve learned to listen within
A voice of reason
Where all awareness begins
Maybe it’s clairvoyance
To know tomorrow today
Even these words I now penned
Spoke to me just yesterday
Future memories
I’m inclined to borrow
When my inner voice speaks
This side of tomorrow

Very beautiful poem, AP. While writing this comment I realized that at 11pm here in Hawaii I am your yesterday, and you are my tomorrow. So am I writing on this side of tomorrow?
hmmm, an interesting concept. Reminds me of the Neil Young song, "Old Man". It's actually about Neil's caretaker of his farm, but it makes me think of a young man speaking to his older self. I'm reminded of this with every birthday I have. Thanks for reading and commenting. ; )
A fine write AP. Though I don't know this Ms Voyance person? Her first name is Clair. Bit like Bill Stickers? And have they prosecuted him yet?! lol.
Yes orchidee, Ms. Claire Voyance will on occasion whisper in my ear things that I'll later on wonder where I heard it from. And Bill Stickers? Sorry, don't know him. But I do know Arthur Itis. He's my pain doctor who makes regular house calls. ; )
'Memories of tomorrow' ... speaks to the concept of 'simultaneous time'. Interesting thoughts, AP!
Thanks Louis. Yes, very interesting it is. ; )
Love this premise, cool poem
Thanks WL, glad you like it. ; )
Remind me of the movie "back to the future".
"Future memories
Iām inclined to borrow"
Me too if I may.
A wonderful poem.
I love the "Back to the Future" series of movies. I love how they go back and forth with various things that are related to each other. Like, "Who's president in 1985? Ronald Reagan? The actor?" LOL. ; )
Your poems always fill me with a wonderful dreamy feeling. Lovely š
That's a good thing, right? ; ) Thanks for reading BlueDays. ; )
Most definitely š
