Your Secret

b-LAH-que

Yes, I know your secret

That which you wish to hide

I never thought so many eyes would turn one blind

It's in plain sight!

But then again, you don't know mine

But I

I know your secret

That which you conceal

Funny how it feels

to know that I could break or steal

the underlying gear that turns the wheel

what helps you heal depends upon the trust I won't reveal

Your secret

Which I could simply tell

And watch your whole world burn to hell

And drown beneath the tides

As your loved ones swell in rage and cry

from the demise of your innocence

and try to pry reminiscence from depths of mind

when only honor was to tell

and well

I'd feel just fine

but I

I think you might know mine
