What Do You Believe In?

shiloh

I believe in the words I can never conceive.

I believe in the friends that always leave.

I believe in the feelings of never letting go.

I believe in subtle roses I find hidden in the snow.

I believe in my hope, which only cedes.

I believe in my heart, that always bleeds.

What do you believe in?

I believe in not believing in anything. In all honesty, I've lived a similar life so far. The people I thought would never abandon me, stole what they could and then left my life. It broke me in a way, and I used it to teach myself many lessons. Having beliefs is fine, but to believe IN something most of the time just leaves you scarred and hurt. I like the question, thanks for this.
