I Envy The Moon
Not because it's seen every night by everyone
I envy it because its far away
In The Sky
Lives with the stars
It's always there for me
I envy it because it's bright
So bright while surrounded by darkness
It watches everything at night
It hears you cry
It hears you laugh
It hears you sing
It sees your pain It fights THE NIGHT to just be The Night
It shows beauty and power
It shows you
Not all of you
Some of You
A small part of you
Only you can grow It's like a garden
So you can shine at night so bright surrounded by darkness
So Yes
I Envy The Moon
