MissileOfUncertainty

I fell in love with him the moment we met.

It wasn't the kind of love that made our bodies magnets,

It wasn't the kind of love that made me fall off of a cliff and hope that he would catch me.

It wasn't the kind of love that you drown in,

It was the kind of love that made it comfortable to be in the same room.

It was like flying a kite in a sea of clouds.

This love pushed a well needed breath into my empty lungs.

His love saved me.

It pulled me up from the bottom of the ocean.

It stopped my body from crashing into the rocky ground.

His love is a breath of fresh air.

And he is the warmth of a radiating hearth.

He's the spark and the light.

And he is the moonlight that washes over my cold and dark nights.

We will never be together.

We will never become one.

But we can always share a smile.

And he will always mend the broken ones.
