Tale Of The Tape

TALE OF THE TAPE
What’s it mean to be No.1 or be the best.
What’s it mean to survive life’s toughest fights or most difficult tests.
I can tell you a story when I got dropped in the 9th anxiety gave me an uppercut.
Depression took me out with a right.
I didn’t know anything was wrong I didn’t even know I was in a fight.
I thought it was normal to feel sad, I thought all my negative thoughts were right.
So when I was flat on my back staring up at the lights, everyone shouts get up but I wanted to call it a night.
This got me thinking what makes a true champion what would good old Floyd do.
He always said to be a true champion you need a good crew.
First off your corner man he will tell you what you worth.
Then there is the cuts man to help you when it hurts.
Then there are the fans, that makes you feel great they will tell you they love you even if you’re old and out of shape.
Compare that to life that’s your family and friends they will always love you and give you hope no matter how bad it gets
So tell me your story and I will share mine
Sharing your burden can be your lifeline; you are not alone for this fight inside your head.
The more we share the less depression will spread.
It is normal to feel sad and scared in and out of the ring.
We all know the pressure that life can bring.
But what makes you unique and makes you the best, your were willing to talk and get it all off your chest.
So when the odds are against you and you feel beat down.
Remember your strengths and fight for that crown.
So when those emotions take over; and your thoughts are blurred.
Remember not only are you surviving you’re the UNDISPUTED CHAMPION OF THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!

An authentic message of inspiration and courage. I love the boxing ring as the metaphor for your arena in the struggles you describe. Great job!
