Are words just words?

parisinwonderland7

Words are daggers.

Words are plasters.

Bruises.

Stitches.

Scars.

Words are the past, present and future.

They are the seems of our lives.

Words make wars.

They can create and resolve.

They can also destroy and complicate.

Words are things to be used with caution.

Words are life.

The answer to your question.

No. Words are not just words.

As poets, words are the way in which we can communicate our emotions, our thoughts, feelings and perceptions. I love how you have highlighted this with the obvious irony. Absolutely fantastic.

Great poem. A good poetic expression of the power of words. Simply words are "karma."

Words can threaten, console and explain. They can express joy and sorrow, love and hate. The pen is mightier than the sword.

Definitely not, they are the beginning and the end, or actions are in between.

Great work, thank you for your words
