Beat or bit a journey under our feet

Poetic Dan

You many say you've been hiding under a rock
Not really looking for the "one" but it might pop up
While I've searched under stones, above the trees
Through the storms and darkest depth of the sea
As like a butterfly that just landed in front of me
Or the bees searching in and out of the leaves
Life can change as quick as a beat
Or feel like a long journey going from bit to bit

  • Comment from author about the poem: I was married at a young age and after that sadly ending after 12 years this was something I wrote while dating in my 30s, to this person who it was written to, I hope you found that part of you that you'd lost. I'm truly grateful to all the souls I've connected with on my journey through life.

PD, so often you find what you are looking for when you are NOT looking! Or, it was right under your nose, but you did not see it! Goes for people, things, anything!

The views of life are there for you to enjoy, if you kept your eyes busy with something not in the sight, you miss all the beautiful thing around you.
