Your journey home has begun
Your fight is over, battle won
Gave your life to protect our freedom
Gave your life to give us peace
Your soul journeys to heaven
Honor your memory white doves released
Military honors well deserved
With so much pride you chose to serve
Your journey home to your final resting place
Will all the care, honor and grace
Always remembered for the sacrifice you made
The high price so many soldiers have paid
Your journey home is now done
Final resting place with green grass and sun
Watching over us from heaven above
Feeling all of your families love
