Sandman

Mandi

When the sun goes to rest his sleeping head

Below the horizon on his comfy bed

Awakening the sandman to work through the night

To help you sleep in the pale moonlight

He drifts so quietly as he flies

Sneakily sprinkling his magical sand in your eyes

As his smile enchantedly gleams

He brings you sweet filled dreams

Nicely written! I also like the accompanying caricature.

Definitely not scary. Makes me want to take a nap.

Your poetry as art propels us into another world of dreams where we rather gently ... float...

As long as your not gently floating to sleep because it's boring I'm good😜(if I misinterpreted your dots sorry) LOVE the quote, thanks for the comment😁

No, no, no, NO; of course not sweet Mandi. Your poem and illustration effectively create the ambience of ... floating ...

A nice way to end the day , Mandi . A nice gentle rhythmic poem
