A Message to my Mind

whoweare

Crush it,  predecessor of human's  fall

that which poisons and perverts men with haught

Too long you have ran free, with so much gall

Be warned, Pride evacuate; be distraught

For precious antedote has been imbibed

By His power like sweet ichor it heals

You dissipate, His might leaves only rind

Humility, fill my mind,  pride it kills

As the ill man's doctor administers

the cure for his ailment, the Almighty

fills me with humility, and filters

the poison, fixing me permanently

Leaving  sickness cured and by the wayside

Bringing me closer, along for the ride.
