To Fall With You

b-LAH-que

What a gift you give to me
That you give free, so easily
And seem so pleased with how i appease your needs
You fill me full of me
Indeed im on cloud nine, im free
How it feels to be encased in thee
Such ecstasy's destiny is electricity
A kind that sparks so recklessly the fires that warm me mentally
And cast shadows complimentary to scenes that lull me gently
Sensitively, genuinely
But never apprehensively
With empathy I enter thee
A mindframe from where you may see
That shows me all we're meant to be
And all I see from you to me;

A lure for opportunity

Beneath the surface, all I lack,
I see what you're holding back
It's surfaced, stacked upon my back
I'm jacked up so much might collapse
Your purpose giving me this gift
Is passing baggage I can't lift
You've cracked, I bandage all your slits
And missed the gist of your entrapping, clamping
Stamped and taped-shut packing,
A gift I never really wanted,
Only cared about the wrapping
Enribboned wrists no longer lift
Ensnared within your guilt trip grappling
In your hands, to me you're clasping
On and all I see is falling, hardly much from me, but always
Falling; all I see of thee

Beneath my solid ground you plunge
And try to clutch to all you see
And while you're hanging on to me
We're falling

Falling, you and me

Lovely poem. I like the rhyming. And the length. Good length. No to long. Not to short. Keep up the good writes. ❤ 💗 💕 😊

Thanks! I genuinely appreciate knowing my poems can be so admired... Especially the rhyming. I feel like a lot of poetry fans don't care for the rhyme schemes, but I have way too much fun writing them!
