Ruins

Mary73223

When the world is in ruins

And are hearts are in decay

You struggle just to make it through the day

All hope seems lost like a ship in a storm

Rain pouring down and wind all around

But like a good captain you never get lost

You can find your way back to shore

But me

I'm the drunk sailor the fell over board

Never to make it back to shore

Drifting alone in an expensive sea

And you

You'll forget about me

Move on

And your world will become whole once again

But I will be the mighty beacon in the light house illuminating your crumpled form awash in a foaming and thrashing sea...Seek my light; seek my light...cries our loving Savior!

Ari, I am not sure what you want to say with this poem. Maybe I am a little daft! Could use a little illumination!
