Ghost in my age

ScatterMax

I'm relaxed in my bones

Tortured in my mind

Confused in my soul

Smothered by the mask

Release my bones to breathe

The shadows of my past grip tighter

Doomed to spend life in fear

Grasping for existence in the eyes of others

A ghost in my age

A great write to explicate the compounding of darkness when one lives in a void absent of any metaphysical light. Seek the light of the transcendent Lord through this simple prayer: "God make haste to reveal yourself to me."

Good piece of writing there. Succinct! Is it heartfelt or imagined? Beware of folk trying to lead you down a brainwashed path (coughs.... whistles innocently).
