she took my pencil to write

Aleem Nasir

I took my pencil to write

Imagination to create

A soul who grab a drink

A way to fight my mate

I took my pencil to write

Her smile to judge a fake

Her laugh to sad silence

Her silly foolish styled face

I took my pencil to write

I took my time to realize

How life is short to commit

To show her to my note

I took my pencil to write

She stopped me to move

It’s mom under the surface

A grave for others my home

On my knees a look deprive

For name to stay engrave

She took my pencil to write
